Yoga Studio
This vinyasa class is a blend of level 1 and level 2. suitable for a beginner who has a consistent practice and for the seasoned practitioner. The teacher will offer options for those who would like to find and explore their edge, while simultaneously honoring students who may need more rest in child’s pose.
Gentle Yoga (Tuesdays 12pm and Sundays 9:30am) $150
Yoga Studio
Gentle yoga is a great choice for people who want to try yoga but are afraid they are not flexible or fit enough to do so. Gentle yoga classes use basic yoga poses in a slow, low-impact way: You will be stretching, breathing, and feeling rejuvenated when you walk out the door. Gentle style Yoga is good for:
Beginners who want an easy and slow class to start
People with reduced levels of fitness, strength, mobility, or flexibility
Seniors
Students with chronic health issues or injuries

About instructor, Catarina Henriques
Catarina has been a Yoga teacher for 11 years, as well as a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach for 5 years, with graduate education in Health and Clinical Psychology. In 2010, she completed her first Yoga teacher training in Portugal; in 2018, she was certified by the Yogaworks Baltimore and most recently graduated from the BambooMoves 200-Hour' Road to Yoga' teacher training. Currently, she is enrolled in the 300-hour YTT at My Vinyasa Practice. She is enthusiastic about creating a safe, compassionate, empathic, and supportive community by encouraging each individual to make simple and positive choices toward living their lives to the fullest. In 2020 she launched the YOGAtv and Sangha WE ARE ONE online platforms, and now, after being fully vaccinated, is back to teach in-person classes.
